Club is founded in 2020, during Covid-19, by friends playing from different clubs across the VISL

Aside from a single draw with Bays, Cook Street United win every single game of the season before the pandemic ends it prematurely

Starting from the bottom tier in 2021/2022, Cook Street rebuild the squad after several key injuries and finish a disappointing 4th, but still get promoted

The season ends in success, with the team winning the JV Barnes trophy in its first full season, beating division champions Prospect Lake in the final 1-0

For 2022/2023, with so much interest in the club, a second team was created. Cook Street Soul would compete in division 5, while Cook Street United played in division 4

Recruiting well, Cook Street United would dominate division 4, eventually losing the title on the final day of the season after a 0-0 draw with Vantreights. Finishing 2nd, the team were promoted to division 3

The team went on an incredible run in the George Pearkes Cup, beating three teams in higher divisions before eventually losing 1-4 in the final at Starlight Stadium against Gorge FC

Cook Street Soul would finish 4th in division 5, enough to earn promotion – conceding fewer goals than any other team in the top 5 divisions but struggling to score.

The club’s second team would also reach the final of the JV Barnes Trophy, losing 2-4 to Lakehill after two defensive mistakes

Ready for 2023/2024

The teams will be competing in division 3 and division 4 for the first time, with access to a new training turf
