Cook Street Zgoda
Rich VISL heritage
Originally founded as a Polish team called FC Zgoda in the early 2000s, the Zgoda Juniors were birthed several years later – eventually reaching division 3 in the late 2010s. Some players today can trace two decades of playing with Zgoda, though no Poles remain
The best banter
Not for the faint heated, the Zgodans go hard on the GIFs and the swearing, but everything is shared with affection and humour. Every player will play with their heart for 90 minutes (or as close as they can get) but don’t expect many players to be warming up an hour before kickoff
A close culture
Annual parties at Bill’s house, drinks after the game, good deeds, board game nights -Zgodans may be parents and busy people, but they still know how to relax and have fun. Training is divisively late, but players are also welcome to join the sessions of any of the other teams too
